room tone
take some audio when your actor's aren't speaking and have it play through your whole scene. This is called "Room Tone" it will prevent the dead silence between clips of dialogue. This can also be fixed with ambient background noise or music.
Hmmmmmmm, Room Tone. Got it, Will definitely look into that! Thank you!
a fine piece of work
Nice choice of music, graphics, transitions. I would have staggered the lyrics, as I found myself often reading ahead of the song. I didn't adjust my monitor, I feel that's your job :)
A fine and bold piece of work. Glad to see it on the front page.
I could have changed the lyrics (when and how they appear that is), but I wanted people to focus on the picture instead of the text. Besides that, most illustrations actually only show one of the two lines.
Someone mentioned the thing about the monitor adjustment before. It is all due to the fact that I use a laptop, and it makes a huge difference how much your screen is tilted (open/closed lid) I didn't want you to change your setting or anything, Guess I wasn't clear on that.
Thanks for the input!
Awesome!
Awesome and epic, I had to watch it twice. Really like what your doing here, great job on the sound/music in particular. You do need to turn on Bitmap Smoothing on your last shot, GET INFO (that little blue "i") in your library, and check the box for SMOOTHING on any Bitmaps you use in your movie. It'll prevent that jitter.
Keep it up!
I know that the last picture looke weird but I didn't knew what the problem is. So thanks!
nice work!
Impressive animation and well put together. This deserves nothing lower then 10/10.
Thank you!
Low Framerate
Great art, but the low framerate made it hard for me to watch. You can double up your frames with F5 in the timeline. Good luck in the future!
Thank you and I will look into that for my future animations.
I appreciate the feedback.
:D
self referential boredom is dangerous
self referential boredom is dangerous. Definitely was longer then it needed to be. I love the relationship between the three and D, but your characters are your STARS, so we should be seeing them out on their adventures! This one almost felt like a documentary...except I didn't learn anything.
An exercise that might help would be Speed Editing. Give yourself a day away from your work, then go back, take a redbull, and cut AS MUCH AS YOU CAN without losing key story elements. It may sound harsh, but anyone can come up with a convoluted storyline. It takes a real [D]irector to cut out all but what the audience needs.
Without this, you run the risk of actually losing viewers and fans, and I know Maloc wouldn't like that!
"your characters are your STARS, so we should be seeing them out on their adventures! This one almost felt like a documentary...except I didn't learn anything."
NICELY SAID. Okay, great, thank you so much that's really good tip.
"It may sound harsh, " It ain't harsh at all. I agree about the real director.
Lol! maloc would not like that.
nice animation test
nice animation test, but I don't feel it deserves the front page.
Lucky you, I guess.
yeah it was quite fortunate or unfortunate.. as everyone hates us now!
error
the flags were flying the wrong way. Unless there was a really strong downwind.
Fair enough, but it's just a cartoon, made for entertainment. Not a depiction of reality, after all. Other errors you missed, People aren't cartoons, the nazi's never invaded by sea, the swastika's are the wrong way around, I only made it because it looks fucking cool. Not to be realistic thank you.
Squire Maldoon.
cool
cool flash. I think that was supposed to be a saxophone though.
Shhh! Don't tell anyone! Gendreavus doesn't play the sax.
